Change of Company Address Registration - Thailand

There is 2 cases in registering a change of Business address, thus the fees, the timeline, the document required and the procedure depends on whether you stay in the same province ( case 1 )or  you relocate your business in another province ( case 2).

Case 1: Change of address in the same province.

Please note that you can change of district but you might be in the same province. For example if you move your office from Lat Phrao district to Silom district you will still be registered under the Province of Bangkok. 

Procedure and Timeline

Our procedure will be completed within 3days because advertising in a newspaper is not compulsory for this case. Assume that we have obtained the required documents we need before Oct 1, the simple process and timeline of changing adress registration would be as below.

STEP 1. Once we have received the required documents, we will prepare the application forms for you and we will request the director to sign them in our office.

STEP 2. We will submit the change of address to the D.B.D
( Development Business Department )

Oct 3

STEP 3. We will submit the change of address to the Revenue Department to update your ID.Card and Vat registration.

Provided by you

  1. Copy of the Director’s ID card (if Thai nationality) or Passport ( If foreigner),3 sets.
  2. Copy of House registration of director(s) 2 sets.
  3. Original of PP.01, PP09 with 2 copies. 
  4. Original Tax.ID card with 2 copies.
  5. Original VAT certificate (PP.20) with 2 copies 

Provided by Office Building

  1. Copy of Household Certificate or “Tabien Baan” of Office Building (1 copy certified by the building owner)
  2. Copy of the Letter of Consent issued by the owner of Office Building to the Company. (1 original set)
  3. Copy of any kind of proof of ownership of Office Building, such as construction permit, house sale agreement, house number application, etc. showing the name of the owner of Panwa Group Office Building (1 copy certified by the authorized director of the company which owns Office Building)
  4. Copy of documents regarding the company which owns Office Building, i.e., copy of Company Affidavit and copy of Thai I.D. Card and Household Certificate of the director(s) signing documents in other items (1 copy certified by such director(s))
  5. Map showing location of Office Building ( 3 copies)
  6. Photograph of office with present the No.of Office Building. and Company's sign-board 2 sets each.

Case 2: Change of address in a different Province.

Example: you are moving your office from Bangkok to Chonburi province.
It costs a little more time and money for this case since the change of address is not in the same province. Advertising in a local newspaper and sending invitation letter for a meeting to shareholders are indeed necessary to comply with the law.

Procedure and Timeline

Our procedure will be completed within 17days since advertising in a newspaper is compulsory for this case.
Assume that we have obtained the required documents we need before Oct 1, the simple process and timeline of changing address registration in a different province would be as below.

Oct 1

STEP 1. We will advertise the change of adress in a local newspaper and we will send an invitation letter for a shareholders meeting
To comply with the Thai law, one must send an Invitation Letter for a Meeting to the Shareholders with the agenda for changing address. The letter must be sent to the shareholders by local post (with advice of delivery) and advertised in the local newspaper. This process will be taken effect within 14 days.

STEP 2. We will prepare the application forms for you and we will request the director to sign them in our office.

STEP 3. We will submit the change of address to the D.B.D
( Development Business Department )

Oct 17

STEP 4 We will submit the change of address to the Revenue Department to update your ID.Card and Vat registration. For this, we will have to submit on your behalf in person to the local revenue department of your new address.

Fee is Baht 10,000.
